Banglatown, a 90 min feature comedy about a struggling actor who is forced to work for the local gangsters to save his son from poverty.

British Bengali, Rush Rahman, struggles with his acting career and faces the pressure of a house eviction. To keep a roof over his young son’s head, Rush has no choice but becomes involved with a local criminal gangster called ‘The Chacha’. With a guilty conscience, Rush aids the gang by using his acting skills.  Detective Inspector Mirza is closing in on the criminals, and the law catches up with Rush who is faced between a life with his son or behind bars. There is only one way out, however, Rush must help D.I. Mirza arrest the Chacha’s boss, Gangster Smith.
